Latino Dollars for Scholars scholarships are provided specifically to help Rhode Island Undergraduate Latino students planning to pursue a higher education.

The information on your application form will enable us to determine your eligibility to receive a scholarship.

Students must satisfy evaluation criteria developed by the Latino Dollars for Scholars Foundation of Rhode Island (LADO).

You must complete all sections of the application and submit it to LADO by the deadline indicated. If any questions are not applicable to your current situation, please e-mail an explanation to the address listed below. If more space is required for information on any items, you may e-mail an attachment. Please indicate appropriate sections and put your name on all correspondence.

You are responsible for all supporting documents that are submitted. These supporting documents can be e-mailed or mailed to the address below.  LADO and its affiliate programs reserve the right to process only those applications found to be complete as of the application postmark deadline.

Please submit the application along with a copy of your high school grades (9 through 12), GED, or college transcripts to the address below. All documents become property of LADO.

Selection Criteria:  There are five categories used to evaluate each applicant. Applicants will be scored based on a 5 point scale for each category (5 being the highest)
